I actually don't like Tsurugi but he does have this character ideology which makes him complex. I just think the Light Yagami trope is common these days...but Kinjo is way better than Light bcz it makes sense why would he have these morals (backstory) and actually a trained police officer.
Idk I find his logic contradictory sometimes but he added more drama to the story I guess lol. He did get to experience the most despair in my opinion.
