I just bought the 3” version. 46lbs!!! 😆 heavy af! Lol. But looks so quality made. Tested it out yesterday on a pool. Super impressed! Though I wish the flow rate was a bit better.

That particular pump, I do believe took to long to empty that cavity.

You're right. I reckon the discharge head wasn't sufficient to open up the hose adjacent to the outlet port. It's clearly pinched off. It pumped for 50 seconds - don't tell me it was operating at "200 lpm" - was that 160 litres pumped out??? More like 50 litres. The OP should point out that the rating 200 lpm is @ 1m head. There's more than that amount of loss in the layflat hose.

had that hose not been bent near the base, I think the removal flow rate would have been better

Hi William. We used Layflat Hose during this particular demonstration of the HS2.4S. Although it may look like flow is more restricted, due to the hoses' flexible nature, the pump is able to do its job efficiently and effectively, pumping over 200 litres of water per minute!

Can you use it with an ordinary extension cord or do you need a specific type of cord?
