I agree with everything you said pretty much except at around 17:00 you didn't need the signaller to tell you to pass a signal at danger as you had a (call on) position light giving permissive working into section (I know I'm being pedantic), but yes you would/may have to call the signaller for him to clear the signal as he did, which by the menu in game is what you did so they could at least try and simulate that part of the phone call. I've always thought that when at a red they should implement the gsm-r standing at signal button and use it as a request to pass at danger with a message saying accepted or wait. Reason for the wait instead of denied is that when pressing that button in reality that's a real message (and the one you see most the time).

I was so excited this was coming to console. I bought it because I want to support more sims coming to console. The game was broken. Framerate issues, lights not actually doing anything. Dovetail still hasn't fixed it, but they want 55 dollars for the 2 addons that have come out. So 59.99 for the digital deluxe edition, and 55 for 2 DLCs. The game is great, but it needs fixed.

At 16:30 minutes when you requested to pass signal T1685 at danger - The reason you didn't get permission to "pass signal at danger", is because instead you got a calling on signal (the two white lights - meaning proceed, but be prepared to stop short of any obstruction) and an indication for platform 9! Therefore you passed a proceed signal, so there was no reason to give you permission to pass :-)

This is bugged for me. Can’t release brakes once I’m coupled with HST and have swapped cabs. Tried it over and over, tried all brakes in all cabs. Still no joy. Only scenario I’ve got left to do :(

I think its desperate for some third party stuff, re-skins and sound packs etc. It needs an awful lot of ironing out in my opinion, its great to have the graphics but the whole sim needs a lot doing.

I don't understand the complaint about passing at danger, when you requested it, you got permission to shunt past it. That's realistic to me, irl you don't get a message saying yep go for it. You just see the indicator light up as you did here.

God it was painful mate this was a good while ago now old pc and on a gtx970 still a capable card for it’s time. Thankfully the devs have improved the optimisation and it’s pretty stable these days and my new rig is pretty sweet

I have this on the ps4 this scenario is broken when you get to the part to reverse back into the sheds the 66 goes dead so I tried the 43 cab it locks the doors and you can get out ☹️ I expected more for 45 quid and the add on is 20 I’m not sure the whole game justifys 20 atm

You can't sit which is really stupid... The DLCs cost to much for not much track. They need to make this sim better. And I love when it snows you get snow inside the train... The long island route cost $30,00 for 40 miles of track. It's cheaper to ride the real train. I really like trains so I bought it. It's better then nothing I guess..

I've not gone for this as yet as am quite happy flogging my thumpers up and down in "auld" TS and hearing its a bit fraught with bugs still makes me hesitant to click the buy button, if Thompson can put signaller interaction in the WHL then surely it should be quite a big thing for TSW?

The Signaller did in fact give you a proceed aspect at that signal of a call-on (also known as cats eyes in Railway parlance), together with route aspect 9; thus giving you warning acceptance onto platform 9 at Reading Station.

TSW is an eye candy and pretty darn good one, after running GWR for some time now its hard to look at TS2017. I get 0.5-1 hour of play time a couple times a week so I certainly choose TSW, and as I only play a few hours per week and that's enough for me. However its easy to envision where if I would be playing TSW more hours I would get bored quickly of driving the same route and only 3 locos (not a big fan of American freight) I am looking forward to see how TSW will evolve, with more bugs fixed, more content released, new game modes of multiplayer and development tools for building own routes, TSW is the way to go, maybe not today, but imminently.

Alan Thomson well I bought CSX and this DLC. Must say that 60fps is not a must have. Even with 40fps in Paddington this game is still playable. And the class 66 is a very nice loco.
