Fake "News" networks use that same strategy all the time, silencing or claiming some pretty obvious news-worthy event never happened because reporting truely impactful events sometimes does not fit the "narrative" they intend to pretend occurred or did not occur. So by clipping out the last seconds of round 2, and perhaps even showing it in slow motion would have enabled a higher percentage of viewers to reach informed opinions about how that fight-changing cut occurred. Failing to focus on the most fight-impactful moments of the entire fight clearly displays intentional reporting bias. Of course, that's just my opinion.

All the fighters Fundora fights are a good bit shorter then him but the fighters Tszyu fights are the same height or maybe a little taller so as long as Fundora was in at least decent shape the advantage would go to Fundora because of his abnormally large height so in a rematch Tszyu would have tome to prepare for someone thats very tall and with a large reach advantage.

Artur Beterbiev had a cut just as big in his eyebrow early in the fight as well and he still ended up knocking Browne out. Doctors usually won't stop fights due to cuts unless the fighter insists that he can't anymore or the cut is near the eye in which case you're risking damage to the eye.

Well, the ref or doctor should have been the one who stopped the fight due to a cut to get to a technical decision. If Tim’s corner was the one who stopped it, then Tim would have lost by TKO or RTD. Blame Harvey Dock for not waving the fight off and Tim not winning the the technical decision.

For the safety of both fighters, this fight should have been stopped. It was quite apparent that Tim's corner couldn't stop the bleeding. To let Tim bleed out like that was disgusting. The official should have stopped the action, and called over the Dr. To examine the fighter, call the fight a draw because it was close, then reschedule a rematch.

Tszyu is a good fighter, but he thought he was a great fighter & this is a wake up call for him. He showed a lot of heart though suffering from that nasty cut & fighting through it! Hopefully he can be more realistic & this fight will be a big learning experience & should help him on his path to becoming a truly great fighter. There's a lot he can & needs to improve with, but he's got a lot of talent & I expect he will step up as he is young enough also.

Good fight Tim Vs Fundora . Tim still had his chances for the left hooks and body work out … but much was neglected. Two champs that took the fight in short notice and gave the us a good 12 rounds. Another champions would have gone for a “ No Contest before the 5th round” to protect a loss on their record and loose the belt. Tim will come back after this adversity.

@@cascade3769I watched Bud fight Ricky Burns in 2014 and remember thinking “this guy is gonna be in some good fights over the next couple of years”……had to wait until 2023 for him to finally take on a (perceived) legit threat. His career has been a joke tbh when you consider that a lot of people have had him in their top 5 p4p for years. Shows the sad state of boxing when we’ve had Thurman, Spence and Crawford all on the come up, and they hadn’t fought one another once up until last year. Those 3 should have had rematches and trilogies between them.
