These are pretty unique. Cooler master has "reverse" edition of some of their fans, but not with swappable blades.

Relaxing to watch on a Sunday evening especially with the choice of music. Smiles at the ‘toughs’. Really liked it overall. My Regards to Thermaltake, too. They will make a sale as a result of it.

Just the fact of being able to pop the blades off to clean them alone makes it worth the price. I'm in and will take 6 👍

21:51 my opinion, always pull fresh air through a radiator. and yea, if u are pulling air out from the sides then pulling air in from the front would be redundant.

Expensive fans, but for once they actually seem worth checking out. Can't say I would follow thermaltake stuff too much as my last keyboard i bought from them fell apart in a few months, but that build has impressed me.

Thank you James! This "feature" "innovation" what ever you want to call it has been a long time coming. Will be interesting to see what Corsair has up their sleeve. They have been quiet lately...they are due for a new fan.

I like the idea of swappable blades, I was expecting it to be switching between air flow and static pressure blades, but was surprised it was for intake/exhaust. It would make it easier to test between intake and exhaust, because fluid dynamics is complex and the fan setup you think would perform best often doesn’t.

As always James, your builds are awesome but Thermaltake leave us asking some serious questions. Yes the fans look good and will allow for easy cleaning of the blades but molex connectors, proprietary connectors and only 5 port hubs when the fans come in 3 packs?? I feel this is a good idea done in a very poor way.

6 ports with Molex power makes sense. Maybe more, yeah? Slight missed opportunity there with the gpu rad fans.. would be a nice thing to see if the alternate fan blades made any difference to performance AND be a potential highlight of the main feature for the fans. I used the View 51 for a good while. It sure does put your hardware on display and it’s well built but yeah.. all that glass kinda chokes the airflow. Good stuff as always, James!

It's nice however I remember the Enermax magnetic levitation fans which were also removable and after awhile they did make clicking noise. So a normal bering is better imo if that's what this is.

Any idea how many fans can be plugged into tge controller? I know its 3 fans per cable. But can you do 5-3 fan daisy chains per controller?

The one important spec reviewers keep forgetting to include is: How long is the fan cable? My case is very tall, so I need extensions.

wtf, I ordered the same TT view 51 case, 3 TT swafans and a toxic rx6900xt before youtube suggest this video....... This build almost idential to what i excepted my desktop will be, although those components haven't arrive hk. Except i'm gonna use 13900k and it will be a white desktop with white TT view 51, TT th360 and a white rog z790. Increditable build.

Specs are not as important as how you use them! PWM is a must for fan speed control! An effective fan profile and placements is far more effective than having all fans @100%...Gud RGB design is also desirable. Deepcool CR120 Plus are my favs.

And now Noctua could copy this idea as a retaliation for Thermaltake attempting to copy their NF-A12x25 fans :D Genuinely a good idea though, i dont like looking at the back face of a fan, it just ruins the aesthetic no matter how "clean" it tries to be.

18:01 i dont like this GPU vertical mount thing because it is encouraging hot air from the GPU towards the mobo and/or any other components in it's direction. This mobo, yea the chip is covered but other components on the board are exposed. it may not seem like much, but over time, can see how it could become an issue. This this case does provide quiet a lot of fresh air intake.... that's 9 fans intake.

Cant help but think it is an extravagant solution. I just feel like we have enough waste to begin with but now we can have even more unused plastic hanging around. Coupled with the proprietary nature of the fan, just kills it for me.

So funny to see how clueless most people are in regards to computer hardware 🤣 On a more serious note, there is a very valid reason for using Molex connection and it always has to do with power draw. SATA cables have nowhere near the current capacity to power multiple addressable RGB LEDs going full blast. So next time all of you kids trying to play cool, just because you overheard adults bassing Thermaltake in some forums, try to do some basic research and form your own opinions. Going too hard on all of you though, even the "reviewer" found it weird so it goes on to prove how low the standards really are...

@@beyondspecs9401 hey man, I have a Lian li o11 dynamic XL with 10 Lian li al120 fans... all of them connected to 1 controller and this connected to just 1 sata power cable... in the video you can see that he installed a lot of controllers maybe 3 or 4... and each one connected to 1 molex... so yes they sucks, as you comment do

@@Games_and_Tech Yep, it works like that. IT'S CALLED: DIFFERENT MODEL. BTW Lian Li is notorious for burned LED controllers and that's why they keep pumping revisions. But hey "mainstream" media thinks it's top quality so don't let me disturb your dreams lol

Great build and video. I am using a 6950 XT Toxic myself, fantastic GPU. However in my testing, it always works best to have it running as exhaust, typically in the roof of the case. The GPU dumps a lot of heat in the case as intake and it becomes unmanageable in extended gaming sessions. With my setup I have a 360 Arctic Freezer AIO cooling the CPU as intake, since the CPU (5800X3D) does not kick out any heat so it works best for me in the Phanteks P600S. i.postimg.cc/fTVzGpK2/thumbnail-IMG-2249.jpg

Thanks Matt Ideally If I had more time I would have played around with the GPU radiator position and ended up having it an exhaust I bet.
