RIP to my lovely dad,a Benin man who speaks and understands every word, and parebles in Yoruba language because he lived all his youth age in Yoruba land before relocating back to his state ( edo ) he will play this music on his JVC turntable every Saturday and sunday mornings and me and my younger brother just sitdown there and listened to the lovely song and call him to come and turn the other side of the turntable plate when one side is finished.life is really short,i wish i could turn back the hands of time.

Sir Shina Peters was amongst the reigning musicians of the late 80s and 90s. He was like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy et al of today. Baba was on top. He is a complete musician. He plans all the instruments so well. He is super gifted unlike today. I am rocking this one. I was in primary school back then in Gbagada, Lagos.

I was in Pry 1, i went on holiday from Lagos to Sokoto, i attended a birthday party and the Sokoto kids didnt know how to dance to the Yoruba Music and i was made to stand in front to teach others to dance to this song, i was feeling like a celebrity. As a young police officer in Nigeria, when I bought my first ever colour television and video player Panasonic and Toshiba respectively in 1993. Shina peters, loketo soccer ⚽️ between Nigeria and Ghana U17 Japan 1993 were bought from the same electronics store same day same hour. But after a while, I resigned from the police even rejected my gratuity and pension when corruption became too worrisome to me. But, I thank God for giving me the courage to resign from the police. I live in Canada now pursuing the same career.

Growing up in Ore, I had four different neighbours who played this album at different times during the day. We didnt have this album but, I still learned the whole album just like that. You couldn't escape it. So catchy..The album was a phenomenon for sure.

I was in Jss 3 at 15yrs in 1989 when this album -Ace was released by Sir Shina Peters. it was the first cassette i would ever buy with my money at that age, even though, my dad bought its record plate as they called it then. i remember how i danced all alone to the music in one of our apartments daily, sweating like a goat! Kudos Sir. Shina. Fast tempo and danceable. Sir Shina distorted the Juju Music space with this change he brought in and put all others on their toes! Afro Juju music creator, i still bow for you.

This was an incomparable music in the 80's, the music really moves everyone whenever he is on the show or being played anywhere else, both day and Night Parties, honestly, it was one out of thousands. Whenever I play this music, it reminds me of better Nigeria in the Past. There was money, no issue of kidnapping, nor Boko Haram. It reminds me of a nice babe i met at Akure in one of the Night Parties, I can't even recognize her if we meet again. Inside Bus nah
