Hi TT & Jake! I can relate to this video. I left Ohio at 19, and relocated to Chicago. I say I grew up in Chicago, Partying, 1 hour sleep and go to work. I didn't grow up with my dad so I experienced a lot of what you went through T.T. I've completed a lot of personal goals and I feel like I'm ready but really God does know the plan he has made for our life.

I’m quite a bit older, but I related to you TT when you said that you did the work and then God knew it was time. Then Jake really nailed it when he said he knew he was ready when he realized he would never be really ready. I met someone in the pandemic as well. I had completed almost a year of singleness and working on me/healing. They had been abandoned and asked could we hang as friends but I declined because I didn’t want to mess up what God maybe working on for us both. Then a few months went by and they asked again to go out as friends. I said yes, we really were there for each other so much. They had to move due to circumstances and still had some baggage and my heart hurts. We still speak often, but the distance. Thank you both for sharing your perspectives on intentional dating it’s quite lovely! 🥹🤗

How do you guys able to not release on friend approval on your relationship and like lock in on how you guys feel? Most of my life I relied on friends ( great friends) to help me in dating advice because I have not dated much but even when they encourage me to do my own thing I feel like insecure about making the wrong decisions.
