This EA FC career mode is fun(never thought I would say this about EA FC but it is what it is!). My favourite ML was the everton one when you had Sebastian Villa and all other players and you would cross a lot and score.

One thing I've learnt with tactics is to try and create triangles using the green boxes that show what parts of the pitch the players occupy. Try to have some overlap of those green boxes between the players to create triangles on the pitch. It's not perfect but it might help a little bit

Tip for creating better chances: when you're in the attacking mid spaces, look for space to send a curved through ball and send your CF on diagonal run (or even up/down towards the touch line) just before you pass it. They'll straighten up once the ball is played, making them curve their run - it beats the defenders way more than the odd straight-line races they do otherwise.

I think regarding the attacking play, it looks like u playing this like a typical fifa player, pass to the wing, sprint down the line cross or pass to midfieler, spam a through ball over the top to striker n score. You should think of attack as phases, first thing is beat the first press in midfield. (phase 1) Then get the ball into feet of your forward player and hold up the ball just use finesse dribble n shielding to wait for more support (phase 2) Then use quick passes to create triangles and make sure opposition players are committing n moving out of position (phase 3) Then and only then look for the through ball once u can see 4-5 players in opposing half. It takes abit longer to create a chance but u’ll have way more success in doing do. The cpu literally did this to u whole game.

There is an option for u to switch players. Switch to “ players closer to the ball” which will be much better. I had a hard time as well but now problems solved

To ppl who are not EAFC haters ,let’s just hope and pray they don’t come up whit no patch that totally messed up the gameplay cause this is way closer to actual football 9 minutes halves whit 1-0 scoreline way proper slower build up both team had to look for opening wasn’t just some F1 sprinting one box to another proper positioning just little aspect they need to work on is sometimes on corners they have to stay advanced until the attack is done but for the most part that game is good way closer to sim mode again not perfect no football game is perfect but way more realistic this year !!

However, this doesn't end and failing continuously makes you feel degutted. Either you find some success or you abandon the game. And this is not good. There is nothing left from the old FiFA. I follow the new games. Even if the simulation mode comes, it is still the same nonsense, as if you are watching an ice hockey game. Don't fool yourself so much. You don't have to pay that much money and force yourself to love this game. Even the old PES 2018 gameplay is better than this, sorry.
