hey i came came up with almost the same build a couple of days ago, it was 2 mrm 10 in the arm to avoid the torso box, its a bit faster and less spready, mrms with the velocity quirk are awesome on this mech

I think you are on to something with using Xpulse along with MGs...I normally dont use face time weapons but could be useful on some mechs

One of my Urbies is 3x MXPLS and 3x LMG; it’s tanky and a great fire support choice if you have aggressive assaults on your team. Sit back a ways and knock compartments off very efficiently, while having enough armor to weather the little bit of attention you’ll earn.

The build sucks because it was used to stomp my team in the second game,🤣🤣🤣. But seriously though, the build is surprisingly good. I ended up swapping the largex-pulse out with a snub ppc and have fun blasting away at red doritos.

Yeah, I've been running a similar build for a while, I have 2 mrm 20's and a snub-ppc as well, only problem is my engine is only a L225. But hey, it allows me to have 2 tons of ammo each for the MG and the MRM's while having max armor and 2 heatsinks (Which are admittedly a little unnecessary). Just don't expect me to be the first to the fight, lmao.

Wasted tonnage on the LXPL. Dropping to a MXPL gives you 5 tons to get HMGs and an MRM40.

But then you’re a brawler in knife fight range instead of medium range like what he has here. Brawling in the current meta is rough. Fun, but rough.

Fun but unfair being a medium brawler indeed! Even downing an assault solo will get you a down arrow and bad C-bills if using any consumables, and thats when your team actually win! :(
