TTC Buses at Keele Station

Keele Station, the original western terminus of the Bloor-Danforth Subway, features a modest bus terminal allowing passengers on six daytime routes to transfer to and from the subway. Routes 41 Keele, 80 Queensway, 89 Weston, 189 Stockyards, 941 Keele Express and 989 Weston Express. At the time of recording in September and November 2023, buses for routes 41 and 941 are from Mount Dennis Division, buses for routes 89 and 989 are from Wilson, and routes 80 and 189 are served by Queensway. Keele Station is at the epicentre of 2023 bus movements at the TTC. The new 2023 XDE40 buses (7200-7333) at Mount Dennis Division have begun displacing the Orion VII HEVs that would have previously been very common at this station, while the 2023 Nova LFS HEV buses (7000-7133) began displacing Orion VII NGs on Wilson routes. Of course, both of these moves mean more Nova LFS and Orion VII NG diesels at Queensway, displacing the Orion VII diesels.
