My 3 favourite Hawker trains were the H1’s H4’s and H6’s and my favourite H5 car was car number 5796 the H5’s were cool too but I had more of a soft spot for the H1’s H4’s and H6’s I use to love the very comfortable bench seats on the H1’s and H4’s and it’s because of the orange doors on the H6’s that I now have a soft spot for the colour orange

@chrisj164 no we have 44 train cars left 44 = 6 trains and 2 odd train sets. These will retire very soon so you should ride on one before they go dead and gone.

It’s the H5, the H5 has that electric hum sound, the H6 does not

All H4 cars are retired as of late January 2012.

these are slowly dying out, once they get more of the new trains on the yonge line these will be gone and replaced by the "old" yonge line trains, it's a big waste of taxdollars if you ask me
