I suspect Ovtcharov loss has got to do with playing against left-he handed player. Timo Boll is also a left-handed player and he'd beaten Timo Boll easily. Also notice how Ovtcharov is smashing Jun Mizutani's lobs down the line, and never even once to his wide corner as if he was afraid.
