The “thinking” that destroyed dozens of historic towns with ghastly concrete abominations. A complete failure to appreciate statistical trends in demand for particular modes of transport, their implications,and the inability of wholesale demolition to meet them. Linked with failure to understand that the mass transit potential of rail & pedestrianisation of town centres was the only way forward. A chance to see woolly thinking in action. A transport professional.
