I full on agree with that materials buff. But what epic is trying to do is to make the game harder for good players to shit on bad players. It’s common sense that a good players is a expert builder and a bad player can barley build a one by one. They are trying to make good players have less of an advantage with mats than bad players since bad players don’t build. Fortnite already reached its peak. From here it’s just gonna die down, and with upcoming games like bo4, fallout 76, red dead redemption 3 and soon to be gta 6, fortnite is in for a ride with player base. A good player will keep playing fortnite since they grinder the game and really like it. But a bad players will just say “oh well I suck anyways, might as well just go fucking play these other amazing games that are coming out.” To sum it up, epic is just trying to make the game more appealing to bad players, that’s why they are nerfing stuff that gives good players an advantage (like shotguns and mats) and that’s why they are keeping a big team mode like 50v50 and 20v20 as a permanent mode. I do agree with the mats update, I really think it’s shit, but if u want this game to stay alive through this cycle of new amazing games coming out, then the good players must take sacrifices in order for the not so good players to stay on fortnite.
