Hi Richard, thanks for Servicing my 550evo, I've only had it a few months but as I said the power on melody drove me crazy. I would have liked a green backlight too but I found red the best out of the three options. I was quite surprised to hear it was slightly down on power at 2.9W, as I said I had a good 19 miles DX but I suppose turning it up to 3.4W wouldn't actually make much difference in the real world. Thank you for doing the additional checks even though I wouldn't use the radio on CEPT etc. Looking forward to seeing the on the road test :)
