A question, we have ESD floor and the work table and surface rug are ESD, it is necessary to land it to physical ground the surface rug and the work table ??

As we know while performing the ESD testing, the operator needs to stand on the ground reference plane. a)What are the various safety aspects needed to be followed? b) Is there any special type of footwear need to be worn during testing? c) we need to provide a separate earth connection for the ground reference plane. In our premises we have a common earth line for our lab. If we connect this same earth line to ESD setup there could be failures in the other equipment’s connected to same line. How we can do the setup in this case? What are the various standard practices to be followed?
