To me, all three of them were different from one another. The first one, it looks like a normal slow open vs backspin, the second one looks to have a slight backspin (or a deadball) disguised as topspin brush, and the third one is obvious. The second one is the trickiest for me since right at the contact point, it looks like he's just lifting the ball almost flat without brushing (the way one lifts a heavy backspin push) which leaves me to think that some of that initial backspin must have carried over.

If truls trains his backhand alot more then he can come very far. His backhand is pretty weak in elite standards.

Edit; Also stop make so many unforced errors. If he manages less unforced errors and improves his backhand... then he Will be a force to be reckoned with surely!

The same can be said for gionis, he made many dumb errors for no reason, as a defender he should easily be able to return
