Often the working man could not afford a car. Wife and children often meant putting a sidecar on a bike. If it exists someone will race it.

Don't wait too long - you will want to be fit to get the best experience possible. If I had waited, I would be struggling to get a severely limited experience imposed by my wheelchair, so I'm glad to have gone (and signed on as a marshal) when I was young and fit enough to make the most of it. And bet on becoming a regular, like I was. It's addictive, so much so that I went over for the Manx Grand Prix and even out of season, as I very seriously considered moving there.

They crashed at the waterworks coming over the mountain. Someone's engine also let go at rhencullen. Red flagged the sidecars then ran the superstock before rerunning the sidecars later in the day.
