Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. Even better for me since I have the same scope.

Great pointers. I dealt with timing issues and used digital analyzers to find anomalies. This required coming up with a theory and then setting up a trigger on various digital signals to find it. I haven't used a scope with the trigger capabilities of this MSO5000 series. These trigger videos, with real signals, are practical and better than reading text with a simple illustration. Clock skew must be subtracted from the available clock period in component setup calculations. Of course, simulations may do that for us but first we must characterize parts and things like clock skew if the parts in a simulation don't know what value to use. Very informative and worth watching all these videos, even after a couple years since their making and even if another scope is in use. These videos take planning and lots of effort.

I stumbled onto your channel looking for info on the features of the scope I just purchased. I watched several videos on the mso5000 and while I've learned a few things about the scope I've learned more about engineering and troubleshooting principles. Thank you.

Awesome video! Was wondering if you could make a video about power analysis and differential power analysis.
