Picture this: you’re looking for a crossover vehicle that’s below Php 1 million which you can easily drive while enjoying good fuel economy- perhaps a good time to consider the 2023 Kia Stonic from ‪@KiaPhilippines‬ ! It’s a crossover vehicle from Korea equipped with a 1.4 liter Gas Engine that’s designed to take on the hustle and bustle of city life easily and effortlessly. This particular unit is the EX edition which is also equipped with a 6 speed automatic transmission, a back-up camera, and many more.

I've had an 22EX for 18 months now. 9 Km per L (mountain driving) 4 wheel disc brakes a plus and the manual shifting is great fun for mountain driving. The car is plenty fast for the Pi. Handling is very good. No regrets (yet) for buying the car-suv. However the dealer service/mechanics are less than impressive, at least on the Queen island. Also, a good chance parts will need to be ordered from S. Korea. Keep receipts for all oil changes etc. They will try to void warranty. * Find a good mechanic for maintenance or repairs *

Hello po, greetings and belated Merry Christmas. Would just like to give some constructive criticism lang po, the review of the car is informative and well paced, prone lang po si host sa redundant words and phrases, baka ma improve po ito with the use of scripts if you haven't already, it's understandable na baka mabilisan lang yung turnaround ng videos and yung hiram ng units so more on improvs ang setup as opposed to a scripted review, so if that's the case then maybe an improvement lang sa style ni host, pero overall okay naman. I'm really interested sa Stonic, thanks for giving this car a review in 2023 as other reviews of the car are outdated. Ayun lang po, cheers! Subscribed for more content.

Thanks Sir! Personally, I liked the exact black and yellow look my unit had. The color matched the overall character of the car but it also made me a little bit conscious of my attire every time I’d bring the car out (BUT again though, it’s preference) 😂 If you prefer a more neutral style, go for all black. The white and black look also looks great on the Stonic 😊 I’d personally add a bit of a tint for my personal safety but I’m sure that comes standard… If I may suggest, best to check out Kia Otis Manila for options, they have all the available colors there for you to see which matches your vibe the best. Hope this helps! 😄

I'm planning on getting one, but then I heard the WR-V is arriving some time in August of this year. Should I wait for the WR-V or get the Stonic instead?

Really depends on needs and/or preference at the end of the day. If you need a new ride at this moment, I'd say go for the Stonic because of the value it brings. The WR-V looks promising and exciting but consider the element of time there. Personally, I've yet to get my hands on one so I have no review for you there just yet. 😅 An argument could be said about reliability on either brand but please do take into consideration maintenance and/or driving habits. Regardless of which brand you go with, after-sales service isn't an issue since both brands are also very accommodating on that aspect. But given that both cars are roughly the same size and/or configuration, you shouldn't be worried either way. Just be careful when you do have your car on the road. Good question! I haven't tried Baguio yet so I have no direct answer for you 😅 But based on posts from other owners on social media, it is doable. Fuel economy performance might slightly change but a trip to Baguio is doable 😊

para sa akin hindi sya ganun ka fuel efficient dahil nakakakuha lang ako arounf 5-6km/L. pero sa XL7 ko naka 10-11 km/L ako same route lang cainta-bgc.
