I have found a problem with my WS-1500. I have the time set to 24 hour time and when you go to the dual time function, the time remains on 12 hour time, sort of. the time shows 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,0,1,2,3,4 and so on with no pm or am indication. When it is set to 12 hour time it reads 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 with a pm indication as necessary. Is this common or do I have a defective module?

I'm facing the same issue with my watch. It's disappointing to see that this watch doesn't have an a.m. indication in 12-hour time at all and doesn't even have either a 24-hour time or at least a p.m. indication in its Dual Time Mode. It's quite surprising for a well-known brand like Casio to make such a basic mistake in the functionality of its watch.

Yes, Casio made a big mistake on Dual time mode of WS1500 watch. The physical paper manual did have sentences mentioned the 24 hour and AM/PM function. But in the online PDF files, the qw3518.pdf file, Casio remove the notes on how to display 24 hour and AM/PM, leave blank there. Seems Casio found the problem but don't want to solve it. It's sad Casio made such mistakes, dual time error on WS1500 and Tide Graph error on WS1700, Casio just focused on G-Shock to much.

Hello, this is very useful and I thank you. I literally just got the watch a few days ago and am trying to set it up. Could you help with the E/W latitude setting? I can't change the degrees separately? Is this supposed to be for the specific hemisphere so that you fix only one (E or W) and that's it? I'd like to set up the values for Bulgaria.

The longitude explanation is incorrect. Search the longitude where you are. It should be a degree number between 0 and 180 degrees and then either East or West. I live in Cape Town so my setting would be 18degrees E. One can't have 2 longitudes.that is impossible

WS-1500 If I make no mistake, I find the same problem encountered in April on the WS-1700H-1AV, i.e. in the visitor's city mode it is not possible to set an afternoon or later time than 12 noon in 24H mode. Has anyone managed to do that? For example, if I go after 9:55 a.m. I don't arrive at 3:00 p.m. but when I arrive at 11:XX a.m. it starts again at 00, so it only accepts morning hours...

I just bought the New Negative version of this watch and I already found a bug in the module. In the dual time I have it set to Tokyo time zone and I'm in the U.S on Central Time Zone and the AM/PM doesn't show on the display. Tokyo time is 14hr ahead of my time zone and even though I know if it's AM/PM, it would be nice if the watch would display the AM/PM in Tokyo. This not a deal breaker, but Casio needs to address this bug...🤨🤨🤨
