And so it was met with" scepticism and lack of mass appeal,"as reported. But as time rolled on its music proved to be an all time success. Strangely enough, the film's music was directed by Naushad Saab, lyrics written by Shakeel Badayuni ji and most of the songs sung by Rafi saab; all muslims. Notice how this song is rendered in the divinely sweet voice of Rafi saab showing the true emotion along with displaying flawlessly all classical ornaments. It mustn't have been easy for Rafi saab,but he did it. Isn't this Rafi magic? And we have been enjoying and ennobling our lives listening to this type of immortal soulful songs.
