Well, apart from her most beautiful singing she's sort of lost there. She Needs or wants to act which I think would'nt be necessary, for the Music is providing everything needed. And she has nothing really to act with on that empty stage apart from that mediocre gypsum copy of a Caesar Portrait bust and that ridiculous sceptre. So she has to kneel down, Show her slip under the mini to the audience and smile like a fool all the time - or at least someone decided she would do. It is as if the director would try to justify visually the Performance of this masterpiece of music to the - assumed - emotinally and culturally degenerated modern visitor. Happens all the time...
