Did you maybe consider to put some coat of light brown polish or wood paint on the handle? It would look even better, i think

Usually all I do is some boiled linseed oil. This one hasn't had that yet. I will get to that in a day or two. The darker stains look good for sure!

Looks pretty green there -are you somewhere in the southeast US? I'm guessing NC/VA?
