I couldn't believe it when the boss had a second phase. I was very surprised since he had dissolved into ash after I used the Triangle of Destinies to deal 192 damage to him. It must have been some sort of illusion or something. This was my favorite part in the game by far. 10/10, would definitely play again.

cant get past the tuba crusader in the copper fields before the tuba tower any tips, i'm currently using: Elder crystal trumpet and ultrasonic kazoo. Also i'm using the Copperserker class.

@@red-ash2901 Oof, Copperserker? They have no dodging ability and their attacks are really slow. Try using the Noteslinger class, it's a pretty good low A-tier class with powerful long ranged attacks. The loadout you have is pretty good, Elder crystal trumpet works well with the Noteslinger's quarternote ability, and the kazoo applies extra damage. I'd also use the Triangle of Destinies, as it's a very powerful endgame item that deals 100 to 500 points of damage, and it's doubly effective against mages. Also try the Notestand Shield, it causes Note and Sheet Music attacks to only cause half damage if you are hit by them, AND gives you a small buff to those types of damage. You're almost to the end of the game, just keep going and you'll make it!

​@@klippschliefer4968 That's true. The Painano is an excellent and respectable weapon that can deal a ton of damage with a wide range. It is pretty slow, but the Keyhunter (One of the low-mid classes)'s Scaleswiper ability would speed up attacks by 45% and deal a small bonus. It could work...Thanks for the tip! I'll try speedrunning it now.

In the first phase, he just comes across as a kooky old wizard. But in this phase, he gladly shows you how he earned the title of Archmage.

I found a skip you can do to skip this boss. Take the Drum Destroyer quest, but don't finish it. Instead, take the drumsticks and interact with it one pixel before the cutscene trigger. Doing this will create a hitbox you can use to walk over the cutscene trigger, but you have to keep using them each pixel you go until you align yourself with the leftmost pixel of the eyeball.

Or if you play any music related classes then you can use the triangle of destiny to one shot the boss (Unless you already used this trick on the trumpet trio)
