Scandal that none of the clips of this justly famous session (Royal Street 04/13/13) lists the personnel-shame on digitalexia. "Fingering with your Fingers" seems to be everyone's most special favorite. On that tune, the interplay between Ewan Bleach, playing the alto sax, and NN (?) on the clarinet is truly amazing, Robin Rapuzzi's washboard work is outstanding, and Todd Burdick's sousaphone solo is, I think, his best ever. But all of the tunes are great, and the whole band, every one of them, really rocked-thank you Shaye!-and it ought to be said who they all were. What a jolly occasion that was!
