It is fascinating to see them in an earlier level of finish, as they find their way. You can hear occasional clashes, and they end a little raggedly---all of that disappears as time goes on. As Bob mentions, most of them are relatively new to their instuments, although they have all worked with other master musicians. They are certainly buoyed by Ewan and Robin----Ewan has many years on his instrument, and Robin, although relatively new to washboard when he joins this band, is a long-time master of rhythm, which translates well. He can hear and feel complex combinations on his board. All the little problems get worked out.

Great growl effect by Ewan at 1:22. And I always appreciate it when everyone else lays back and allows Todd to shine such as at 2:57. I can see this band playing at pro sporting events like baseball and basketball. I think the crowd would love it.

They got very good very quickly ... this is 3&1/2 years from founding; Shaye & Barnabus have only been playing horns about 5 years, self taught
