Many thanks, Jeff. 'Climax Rag' was composed in 1914 by James Scott. Tuba Skinny included it in their Album 'Rag Band'. It comprises three themes - the first two in the key of F and the third theme (the main one) in B flat: 00:03 THEME A (16 bars) - Ensemble, but Shaye taking the breaks on bars 1, 2, 9 and 10 00:24 THEME A again - Ensemble, with Craig on clarinet taking the breaks on bars 1, 2, 9 and 10 00:43 THEME B (16 bars) - Ensemble 01:02 THEME B again - Ensemble 01:18 note Shaye's pat on the head to remind them that they go back to Theme A next 01:21 THEME A - Ensemble, with Barnabus on trombone taking the breaks on bars 1, 2, 9 and 10 01:40 THEME C - (16 bars, and we are now in B flat), Ensemble 01:59 THEME C - Ensemble 02:18 THEME C - with Craig soloing 02:36 THEME C - Craig soloing again, but with supportive harmonising from Shaye and Barnabus 02:54 THEME C - Barnabus soloing 03:13 THEME C - Shaye soloing 03:32 THEME C - Jason soloing 03:50 THEME C - Todd soloing, with long-note harmonic support from Shaye, Craig and Barnabus 04:08 THEME C - Ensemble 04:27 THEME C - Robin soloing, against stop chords 04:46 THEME C - Ensemble, grand finale, and ending without Tag or Coda.

Oui la prise de son est particulièrement bonne ! Pour la grosse caisse c'est particulièrement délectable et l'on peut constater que même là, Erika Lewis fait montre d'un swing irrésistible ! Un autre fois je vous parlerai des chrouchrounioufs que m'a fait le gros plan sur Shaye Cohn !
