This video had made in Spotted Cat is one of my favourites. I love to listen to Dixieland's music by Tuba Skinny's band. All of their performance is an excellent --musicians, especially a cornet player and player on the trombone, an unusual way of singing by matchless Erica Levis and the song, of course. And yet, I always take pleasure in to watch the dance of this enjoyable pair. The partner has been a wonderful sense of rhythm and his movies very freely and an artistically. This video stands out because the band is so good, the song is haunting, Erika is perfect and the dancers add magic to the performance. The dancers are Chance Bushman and Lisa Casper. They were a team in many dance contests around 2012. Chance, sometimes called "the Lindy king of New Orleans," often danced at Tuba Skinny gigs. This is a very special video.

When I was a young man (1950s) there was lots of so called Trad bands in UK. They claimed to be revival bands but this music played by Shaye and her friends isn't revival ......It's the real thing and I thank them for that. They're great.

My wife and I drove a 400-mile round trip to see Meschiya and the Big Horns when they came over the England and we would definitely do the same to see Tuba Skinny. In fact, we would go to Italy next year if they return to the Umbria festival. Sadly, I don't think we can get to NOLA for March or April 2013 but 2014 is pretty much a definite. So here we come Spotted Cat and French Quarter Festival, y'alll. And Mrs UKJBF is definitely keen to do some LIndy Hop dancing. Woooohoo!

I imagine how old people enjoy listening to musical bands like this one where they see young people playing the music of their youth as well as in their young years and how it must excite them to see and listen to such good young musicians preserve the music of those distant years such as they listened to it in their youth. -Where do you see young and old people enjoying the same music in the same way? -This type of environment where old and young alike enjoy the same music, I think you can see it in very few musical styles!
