Almost 10 years later and I am still coming back. First heard this at 14/15 and still in love! I am now turning 25 in a couple of months.

I watch this over and over. It is a classic worthy of preservation. The trombone and clarinet solos are as near to the ideal as I can imagine. Erica (singer) embodies the song even though the microphone does not pick her up as well we would want, but you can still hear and see the power of her performance. Shaye's cornet solo shows the effects of her beverage but the solo still hits the mark. Oh, how I wish I could have been there. The other KZbin video of this song by this group is also fabulous. I have bought all of their CDs, you should too.

Everyone's so young, even Tupelo! This is wonderful early Tuba Skinny. Although Shaye was once headed for a career as a classical pianist, it is obvious that from an early time she had a mature sense of how to shape a jazz solo. This video shows her at a time her command of the cornet would not always allow her to play the music she heard in her head.

This title is the first I heard from TS ten years ago - and after I have heard hundrets of songs from TS - it is still the best! Although I think Erika is no good Jazz singer, - she is is a very good Blues singer - and this is her best song.

They have toured much of the country and much of the world .. to acclaim .. but they come back home to New Orleans to clubs and festivals, but also busk a couple times where they are close to 'regular' people, where they can try things and be themselves - comfortable. And they are great 'regular' people .......

Erika is just incredible - she could fill the gap left by Amy Winehouse and more. Norbert Susemihl knows what he is doing when he tours with Erika and Shaye ( cornet ) . Jools Holland -pay attention - get them over to the Uk for the Hootenanny(even better a whole show dedicated to New Orleans traditional jazz) - make my day!
