You deserve every cent in that bucket of money. Superb music, No frills, no fancy gimmicks, just clean pure jazz. Love it.

I love the way B.Jones plays - never anything "fancy" - but always the right notes - so well "placed" - and with a great , not overly "brassy" tone. What musicians refer to as "tasty" .

My late father grew up in the Jazz Age, and was a fan of Dixieland Jazz all his life. I grew up listening to his Jazz recordings, and inherited his collection. Whenever I hear Dixieland Jazz, I think of him. The Tin Roof Blues was one of his favorite tunes -- he told me it was one that he really had to search for, be it in the repertoire of a band when he was young, or a recording in later life. I believe he would have very much liked Tuba Skinny's version -- and if departed, unseen fans come to listen to these young musicians, I would not be surprised if my Dad was among them.

New Orleans doesn't forget it's history. Young people playing traditional music in the street. Only one of the many reasons I love the city.

Fabulous as always. The more I hear the great TS the more I hear; if you see what I mean. This time it's just what a huge contribution Barnabus Jones makes with that trombone. Simple phrasing yet massively contributory, an absolute joy.

Still trying to find a washboard somewhere. I've got my guys at junk stores keeping an eye open for me. Pawn shops not so much, but maybe. Second hand stores, garage sales, used items at Habitat for Humanity ? There just has to be one moldering around somewhere. Maybe I should put up a wanted ad on craigslist. Cans, cowbells and a small cymbal I could maybe find as well. Next will come that 8 string banjolin or octave banjolin I've been dreaming of building. I've got rhythm -- who could ask for anything more.....

I love Tuba Skinny, they are all excellent musicians with a great respect for the genre they are interpreting! But after the third video flip or whatever you want to call the effect used here, I'd had enough! The music is what matters and not some irritating video effect that gets the videographer off!

Re the,'Drop the baseball caps, jeans and silly shorts',comment. The way I see it,it's what's under the baseball caps, jeans and shorts that matters which in this instance is pure talent. If you've got it you can dress how the hell you like. This is a jazz band, not a fashion parade.
