I have never thought of that but that would explain the dream voice (the one that remembers). It’s likely memories are fading into Ranboo’s ‘main’ memory which his mind rationalizes into a voice, which sounds like dream because of the conditioning (sorry if this was confusing)

This is late but I was having trouble understanding it all so I suggest you read a summary article (you can find them on the wiki or just Google 'DSMP lore explained') to get the overall plot and then if you want you can watch streams to see more if their characters and also just because its entertaining. ^^

He actually has a big problem with remembering names in real life. So when he was playing DnD he would always give his characters memory loss so when he messes up someone's or something's name it would be in character. He decided to use this technique for the dream smp. Obviously it's MUCH EXAGGERATED in his character since he still has a normal life and normal long term and short-term memory irl.

Basically, Ranboo just has memory problems where he forgets things very easily after some time so he always writes down things that happen in his memory book, including his list of friends so he won't forget them

I'll do my best and I'll assume you are talking about everything that has happened shortly prior and after L'Manburg being blown up for the 3rd time. The Major Juicy Stuff: 1. Ranboo was confirmed to be the one who blew up the comunnity house in an act to spite Dream. (He's also going through some severe mental stress about his chronic short term memory and uses a diary to help him remeber things). Also he stated he hates the fact people are so hyperfocused on factions. 2. Fundy and Niki have decided to abandon L'Manberg, with Niki burning down the historical L'Mantree because they believe not only was L'Manberg screwed with the incoming assault by Techno and Dream but that their country was no longer worth fighting for after all of the influcted onto them for trying to defend it. 3. After Ghostbur visits the aftermath of L'Manberg, he is strucken by grief over the loss of his sewer home and his pet blue sheep. He decides there must be unfinished business for him to do and begins plotting a way to resurrect himself, mainly involving Philza. 4. Quackity is essentiall homeless a the moment and for now has gone solo. 5. Tommy and Tubbo have taken refuge and are now plotting to take down Dream within a week as the believe they need to strike him down. They also plan on getting back the discs but don't really have plan for that. 7. Techno and Philza invite Ranboo to become a neighbor though Ranboo is adamant about not joining them, just okay with living around them. 8. Dream essentially went on vaction. Also, almost everyone agrees he went too far this time and want to kill him. Other things: Techno and Tommy know about the super prison Pandoras Vault. Techno and Philza find out and experiment a special teleportation system that teleports a player back from where ever they are in the world (probably foreshadow for the prison in terms of escape). And Tubbo found a fox which died shortly after. Pretty much it.
