I think actions are very inconsistent across the industry. I like a soft tip rod but also want backbone so I guess I would say med/heavy. TO me the most important thing is straight fluorocarbon line - I use Seaguar 8lb AbrzX

Generally a stiffer medium action rod.

3000 - The reason is because it has a lot of line capacity.

Mark I wanted to tell you your show on the WFN is I think the best freshwater show of the caliber of Bill Dance and Virgil Ward. It's entertaining and very informative. I know y'all are trying to sell lures and I know that pays the bills. But you have a damn good show. Thankyou.

Hey Mark, is tube crackin mostly for grassy lakes to hang and snap free crackin? Didn’t know if it would work here in East TN with our highland reservoirs and rock. Great vid. Thanks!

It works fantastic in rock - I've done it on Table Rock Lake with incredible results.

Yes- in heavier cover whether it be rock or wood. I exclusively use a Strike King 3.5 inch coffee tube.

Great stuff as always Z! Would you crack a tube in stained or slightly dirty water in a river or reservoir, or is more for clear lakes?

Yes, it's more for clear lakes and sparser cover. In heavy cover or dirty water I would just go to a totally different technique.
