--- About the Tube Stories
We are Kim Henry and Eric Paré. We are a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more.

A good artist never reveals his secrets. But great artists like you certainly do! It's wonderful to see how the creators of a whole new genre of photography are educating us through their tutorials and behind the scenes. You guys have put so much effort to uplift this art, which is more creative than any other form of photography! The light paintings inspire me but it is the landscapes and composition which makes me cry- it is too beautiful to be true!

Hi Eric, I've been following you for some time and I love your fantastic work with Kim, she's fantastic too!! You are artists. If you can, I need your help: I bought a Klarus XT2CR flashlight (as you suggest in your own TubeStories). I have perfect tubes for torch, greaseproof paper and colored films. But the result is really disappointing! The problem is the excessive brightness at the beginning of the tube, and then very little light. How can I light up the entire tube to make it light up? Thank you, I would be very helpful, I don't know how to do it!! Sincerely. Angelo

Great video! Secretly glad to see your struggle with the wind and falling over, since I've been laughed at when that happened to me! It's difficult to stand still. Makes me wonder if you also sometimes accidentally hit the other with the tube, or is that still a beginner's mistake (or only something that happened with me😂)?

Love your work! My biggest question is: Do you coordinate the total movement with the shutter? In other words, do you use a timed shutter release? Or a remote trigger release? And does the shutter and the movement end at the same moment?

hi! Check out this video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpq4h3aMptaLsKc Basically, when working with high winds, you need to avoid passing twice behind your model. A single side swipe is your best bet Thanks ::))
