Very good demo. This helped me to find the problem in my amp.

I was getting the same sound on my Fender BD. Sounds like a 🛎 bell ringing. Thanks 4 the info.

What is the issue exactly? Bad tube or loose socket? 🤔 Seems like the tube is loose in the socket?!

This is my 3rd hot rod deluxe III and same problem with them all. I'd appreciate it so much if you could help me with it... any solutions?...

you can buy a dampener ring to put on them or the foam block if you can fine them.

My fender hot rod has rattled since day one. I put on tube clamps..bought a stand so it would lay flatter...worked a while..it still rattles. I have an old fender supro from the sixties..still no rattle from that awesome sounding antique .

Again, good demonstration of what it is. How do you fix it? Replacing the tubes is fine but won't it just happen again after x number of hours? How to resolve it would help?

buy a solid state amp

Buy tube dampeners. Some of the best are made by Eurotube.com and btw ignore the above comment recommending a solid state.

2E0KKQ lol your comment is hilarious towards the end. But yes, being upside down and mounted within a cabinet that holds a speaker does cause tube rattle in most cases. But the funny part of your comment “good amps have the speaker separate from the amp and tubes up the right way”

Tune rattle isn’t going to recur unless somethings serious wrong with your tube sockets

Can you explain how you knew it was the groove tube, and not another tube causing the rattle? Thanks.

I have a Fender Blues Junior III and I get a metallic rattle when I play A, A# and B mostly on the higher frets. Also it occurs after about 10 or 15 minutes of playing my amp. Could what's happening with your amp be the same thing as what's happening with mine

Dud mine is doing this now. I just replaced the tubes and still getting it.
