The raw talent of actors, actresses, musicians, artists, singers, rappers, dancers, and comedians was insanely impressive throughout the 80s to the mid 2000s. They had such strong passion for their art, were authentic and unique, and crazy creative. Idk what happened, but entertainment has really hit a low in the last decade. Standards have dropped so low that anyone can be a rapper, singer, actor, model etc as long as people like them as a person. They don’t have to have any real talent, it’s purely a popularity contest. I’m hoping this changes for the better soon, cause I’m craving great everything. I’m tired of seeing and hearing the same exact things over and over again, the predictability of it all, the lack of originality and creativeness I was so excited for and used to. Gen-Z deciding who becomes a star is asinine to me, which is what is happening because of social media. They have no idea what talent looks or sounds like. Who is raising this generation?
