@@TakatoEndou history repeated itself. Remember in 2012, we couldn't make top 4. Everyone thought there was no hope for European football the next season.. Our only hope was in the champs league back then. But even with that, it was a slim chance since we had to play a tough semi with Barca.. And then a crazy one against Bayern..but we made it...the only difference is, we only just made top 4 this season

Tuchel is ultimate tactician. I was really skeptical of the 3-4-2-1 but the patterns of play I saw right from the start and the intricate passes along with the man to man pressing whenever we lost the ball, made me believe that this could be our year. Every single player last night were simply incredible. We nullified man city and tactically outclassed as we had the runners in behind Timo Werner and Pulisic.

The best thing about Chelsea's 3-4-2-1 is flexibility. It's crazy how easy Tuchel has made it look. - The 1 up top can be an out and out number 9 or a false 9. - The 2 beside that can be natural wingers or floating number 10s. - The wingback positions can be used by natural wingers when needed to go into next gear attack. The biggest problem Lampard ever faced was finding best positions for our hybrid players like Werner, Havertz and Mount. Tuchel seemed to have unleashed the best out of these players with his system's flexibility. But he still needs to coach this team how to break lesser epl teams that defend deep for entire 90 minutes.

In a strange way, the injection of Acadamy players into the Chelsea first team was due to the UEFA transfer ban, and that's when the likes of Mount, James, Hudson-Odoi, Gilmour, Christensen, and Abraham burst into the scene. It is a good mix of youth, new signings subsequently, and experience that propel us to the current pinnacle. So, every dark cloud has its silver lining. As for Tuchel, I love his demeanor, his tactics, and how he carries himself: in a dire situation he showed vision, courage, and hope; and in victory, he showed lots of gratitude and humility. Wow, what a coach, not just on the football pitch, but a coach for life! Thank you.
