@@hbray86 I think part of the problem is that after ww2, the actual conservatives, witch today is known as paleo conservatism, were largely replaced by neocons and liberals. This is in my opinion a big reason why the republican party is in the state that it's in now. I am not sure a 2 party system is necessarily a problem, but maybe there should be more parties, i would have to read more on that. This is just an observation from someone who lives outside the US.
