I am 99% predisposed to agree with RS on every talking point based on my history of watching this show. However, I feel like I should correct him on this point. Tucker was absolutely WRONG to state that VZ was never elected. He most certainly was. As to RS's point that he then suspended elections and as such he loses legitimacy as elected ruler of Ukraine, this is simply not correct. The Ukranian constitution gives the central government power to suspend elections in case of an invasion. This was NOT created by VZ but rather by the framers of their constitution. As such VZ is simply executing power granted to him by their constitution and while I would prefer elections take place you cannot assert he is not the legitimate ruler based on the facts as they exist.

Such a strange opinion. Do you really think that the US would have any chance to stay a democracy if it had no other democratic allies? Do you really think all the money spent in the last 50 years by the US to fight Russia was for nothing? Do you really think that the old weapons given to Ukraine are not a great opportunity to put Russia on the ground without a single american live and for less money? Russia and Ukraine are now exhausted. Ukraine is now one the Europe/American/Japan side for the next 100 years, Russia is loosing ground everywhere. We can now face China.

@@Conradist Hello from Ukraine, we elected Zelensky not because we wanted to "surrender", but because we were tired of the old politicians. Yes, he tried to conclude a long-term peace even at the cost of Donbas, which cost him his rating, but Putin, as it turned out, was not interested in this, he banally ignores Zelensky as a leader and does not consider us to be another nation. Changes in the army are being carried out not to replace those who want to "surrender", but to carry out difficult reforms in the army during the war, get rid of the Soviet legacy and establish a new organizational structure between brigades for close communication on the front line. This has been the main topic in our society for the past year and fortunately the president listened to those soldiers and also established communication on problems in the army directly with the junior officers who are at the front, bypassing the high generals and bureaucracy.

Tucker's perspective is laughable, but the male host's is also pretty kool-aid flavored. Russia conquering Ukraine is far from a foregone conclusion. They had 400k+ casualties in a year to gain an area smaller than LA. They are now rummaging through the least desirable antique and rusted up equipment in storage, and sending soldiers on crutches and donkeys to the front line. And Ukraine has put them in this position with a fraction of the equipment and support they said would be needed to outright defeat them on the battlefield. Now the Russian state is bleeding so heavily that the collapse of the state economically or politically is highly probable- even if they forever keep forcing hundreds of thousands of men to death and dismemberment for fear of admitting defeat. Zelenskyy is 100% the legitimate leader of Ukraine (and the free world anymore with the complete lack of spine of any other leader). He was elected by the majority of Ukrainians and the nation's constitution was written to forbid elections during martial law, which is rightfully enacted. Political division of election is the absolute wrong seeds to sow during a time when national unity is of the utmost importance.

Ukraine isn't a democracy. Far from it. In democracies there is more than one TV Channel, main political parties and main Christian denominations aren't banned, no mass extrajudicial killings, disappearances and torture, men from 18 to 60 aren't banned from leaving the country, people aren't rounded up in the streets and dragged to their death. Democracies hold elections after all. Well, it's a quote from The Time article. Zelenskyy top advisers say about him: “He deludes himself, ” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic.” According to the Economist Zelenskyy is literally screaming at his generals at this point. One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945 . Zelenskyy "achievements" to date: 790,000 Ukrainians are dead, 3x that mangled and crippled for life, half of Ukraine's population is living as refugees scattered all over Europe and Russia right now, they're drafting women because they've run out of men to kidnap off the streets. NYT wrote about these mass kidnappings that were happening only in Zelenskyy Ukraine and Hitler's Germany in 1945 in an article ‘People Snatchers’. According to Zelenskyy latest statement only joining NATO or nukes can save his hide. These are lunatic ramblings of a desperate dictator before the imminent collapse of the regime.

Please tell Joshua about the war, he does not seem to know that there is one. Democracies during wars do not work as usual. Joshua is also mixing this with a list of hoax: I doubt that he would have facts about - main Christian denominations banned, no examples - mass extrajudicial killings, no examples - disappearances and torture, no examples - people rounded up in the streets and dragged to their death. no examples - drafting women, only for specific non combatant jobs. Ukraine already won, as they are standing still for the last 3 years. Indeed it is well known that some generals called for surrender at the beginning, this was long ago. Zelensky great achievements to date: Saved the country from full scale invasion, received support from over 60 countries, limited the casualties to a third of the russian casualties by the slow retreat strategy. Managed to keep the invasion to a very very low scale. Weapon production is skyrocketing bouncing back russian advantages one by one (Canons, shells, tanks, armored vehicles, black sea fleet, drones, Gliding bombs, missiles.... with F16 and Mirage planes arriving in Q1) Stronger than they have ever been, they are as exhausted as the Russians. But the constant victory of being able to resist will drive them for more years if necessary

Any complaints Tucker Carlson has about a wartime Ukraine would be resolved by Ukraine joining the EU. Given that he doesn't support Ukraine's western values, his objections to the Ukrainian government aren't that it isn't western enough but instead that it's not enough of a dictatorship. Very clear partisan political manipulation here: I support western values, except I also support Putin's dominance over Europe, and Putin's a dictator.

Look forward to Robbie having the opposite view when Donald declares an emergency and takes away citizens rights. Guaranteed he’ll find a way to support that.

Hi Hi I supose you have neither an idea about what a war is, nor what logistic is neeeded to organize elections and associated debates. BTW, constitution of 2004 makes election not legal during the war, exactly like all other countries do.
