I have long term friendships with people from Russia and Ukraine. They have been talking about the Nazi infiltration of Ukraine for years. The Russians will never forget how many people of their country were killed by the Nazis in WW II. Instead of the USA protecting the Ukraine from Nazi infiltration they are working with them to take over the country. I knew this long before I heard Putin being interviewed by Tucker or heard Putin say it. Because my great grand parents were German Jews that left Germany in WWII maybe I take Nazis getting a foot hold in any country seriously. But that is just me you don't have to care about Nazi infiltration of any country and you can be upset about Putin not wanting Nazis to take over Ukraine. But it does not change the circumstances. Not everyone who listens to Tucker hangs on every word he says. He says a lot of stuff I don't agree with. He irritates me especially his laugh. I am glad that Putin did most of the taking in that interview. In my life I have found that much of the time that the things I don't want to see or hear are the very things I need to see and hear. I know how hard it is to hear or see what I don't want to hear. The more information we have the better choices we can make. So think about it if truth is in you.

Really? Crimea is a part of Ukraine i the exact same way Texas is a part of the US. Seems very much like it's you - just like so many others - who are really clueless about what's going on in Ukraine, and who doesn't understand how these things work - at all. You have something called International Law - which all involved parties have ratified - that dictates these things, and define state sovereignty and territorial sovereignty. As such, it forbidden to invade other states sovereign territory and to annex parts of another states sovereign territory. So if you want to just throw all International law to the curve, and "give" Crimea to Russia, what's to stand in the way for someone coming along and annexing Texas and invading the rest of the US, as to get "negotiations" about and end up getting Texas, because of this utterly insane precedence you want to set here. It's quite amazing, how the experience of feeling provoked for some reason suddenly is a valid reason to break International laws and invade other countries. My neighbors have provoked me so much for so long now, I see no other way than to invade and occupy my nearest neighbor's apartment to have as a buffer zone. That would then be the other neighbors responsibility and they would be to blame, according to this new legal precedence you want to set in the world. History isn't the legal framework nor the governing "laws" of who-this-place-really-belongs-to - International law is. If not, then Russia is really just a Swedish colony, because Russland was actually founded by Swedish Viking Rurik who established Kyiv, then Oleg etc. And they were called the Rus people, so they even gave their name to Russia. The US then belongs to us, Norwegians, thank you because historically we came long before Columbus and settled in the US. That's really not how we do things in the World, and neither should it be. Nor is it such as if all Texans had a referendum and 100% of all Texans voted to become Mexicans and for Texas to become part of Mexico, then Texas would or could become part of Mexico. The only entity with sovereignty over it's territory is the state itself. As such, it's not even legal to give away territory to another state voluntarily. It's simply illegal to divide the sovereign territory of ant state. Here in Norway we actually tried to give some small mountain top to Finland, as for them to have a bit higher tallest mountain then they have, but it was simply not possible, because it's simply not allowed for any reason. The law is the law. Why, Mister Carlson, doesn't the law mean anything to you regarding these matters? How can it be that feeling provoked in any capacity can be a valid reason for breaking laws, invading other countries and waging war there? Up until just days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th 2022, Putin denied having any plans to invade Ukraine. Putin is demonstrably a lier, and lies about everything. He lied about separatist forces being back by Russian forces back in 2014, he lied about invading both Georgia in 2007 and Ukraine in 2022. Back in the 90's, Putin said that there was no dispute about the borders of Ukraine, nor about Crimea being part of Ukraine. Hey, here's a stupid idea: Since history should be the new International law and it's all completely arbitrary when in History people want to have as the reference for how things "really are" or should be today, and that all Humans on planet Earth at one point lived in the Rift Valley in Eastern Africa, why don't we just define ourselves as Africans and the world as one country named Africa? The Charter of the UN prohibits state countries from invading other state's sovereign territory, for any reason, and it's article 51 grants Ukraina the right to defend themselves against Putins illegal and insane war.
