I love your input on this wing! Also, I've been hydrofoiling for a couple years and people usually ask what wing to ride. I'm always recommending a THICC wing with curved tips that's got TONS of lift and is stable and easy. This seems like the same concept. After two years of foiling every day, I run crazy high aspect, razor sharp, long, stupid fast foils. I would NEVER give it to a beginner. It's just a waste of time and sketchy and not ideal. I'd like to get into paragliding/paramotor and this wing does both. When I have the money, I'm for sure ordering from Risky Biscuits! I think I'd be happy on a Mojo for years and simply not care to upgrade and just coast and chill.

Question: For being such a "peaceful" and forgiving wing does that mean that it tolerates turbulence better?

@@TuckerGott in my opinion. I dont know if is it a necessary a good thing that a wing is too stable. Maybe for very few first student flights, yes. But I prefer more to use "not so stable wing". Or move to use that kind of wing relatively soon, after, lets say 4-10 flights. Why? Because even stable wing can something act unesceptect like when collapsing, it does not fly straigth or so when spmething happen... and if you are used to too stable flight, you dont know what to do. And you dont gain any experience. I flew my school flights with a A wing (very low b, practically A wing), and while it was stable, it was not too stable (for example when I perform asym frontal collabse using a-lines, it doesnt flew a straight and I neede to correct that and so on..). And I gain a lot of experience how the correct collapses etc. But in relatively safe way. So in my opinion too safe wing is not anymore a safety thing. Its opposite. And you have a hard time to move forward...

Hi Tucker, I'm sure you have found out by now but only just seen this, I'm sure the Mullion on the trimmers is for free flight, My Mojo has a ring to disable the trimmers when in free flight so that you don't use the trimmers, only speed bar, trimmers in free flight negate the A rating.

Thanks for that review.As a beginner transitioning from skydiving I need a safe wing, I was going to get a Roadster, a beginner with Reflex, but then saw its behavior in turbulence and realized I could get sideways and in trouble fast. Hey Tucker! How much brake pull do you like to have before you feel pressure? I shortened my Sirocco2 down about 2", which gives me pressure about 3" from the pulley. I'm thinking that may be a tad short?
@TuckerGott4 жыл бұрын
Three inches seems about right! I've found that if they're too high, my arms get tired. But I like them short enough where the engage where my arm still has a mechanical advantage. I think the perfect setup depends on the hang point, glider, and pilot dimensions. The most important thing is that you don't shorten them too much where they engage when you activate the speed system. It's important to test that at a high altitude slowly and progressively if you have any doubt.
@ryandinan4 жыл бұрын
@@TuckerGott sounds good! I need to get up and test the speedbar on this glider; I had the speedbar lines adjusted to the same length I used on my last wing, assuming it would be about the same, but they were too short to connect. I'll have to let them out a few inches. Thank you for the info!

I think though, if I did become a paramotor pilot, I would probably just stick with the mojo and never switch to anything more advanced. Because like, I don't necessarily care that much about going fast, or pulling off cool acrobatic maneuvers, my number 1 priority us gonna be safety, and the only thing I really care about is being able to get up in the air and see the sights.

Indeed, the inflation of this wing in forward start is bad. Backward starting, is no problem. I own this mojo pwr 2 wing since april 2020, but starting forward is not easy. It keeps hanging behind me. But in the air, everything is more then fine.
@vliegbrommer3 жыл бұрын
Correction; forward start is perfect. I did it wrong. As with every other wing, I always use the middle A riser with the 2 middle A lines to start forward. With this mojo pwr 2 wing you must grab the whole A-riser, so not only the 2 middle A-lines, but the whole A riser and preferably completely from the base. If you do that, then the wing starts perfectly forwards.
