Totally wasn't intending on posting this flight, hence no narration, but it turned out to be a way cooler flight than expected. I started to realize part way through the flight that the 14m FR2 was the fun choice, but not the safe choice. The terrain was very unforgiving for a motor out and I was burning fuel quick. Towards the end of the flight, I realized I didn't have much gas left and went into conservation mode to make it back. Enjoy!

I imagine you already know by now, but there's a very popular launch site not far from there, where you can find as many as 20 guys flying on a good Saturday morning. Having flown out there since 2019 or so, I have a map with the few launch sites that I'd be happy to share. Just bummed that I never got to say hello because I recently relocated from the East valley to Virginia 🫤

As a native Coloradan, who lives at 8,000 ft., surrounded by 13 and 14,000 ft. peaks; I wasn't expecting to be impressed by Arizona's "mountains." But this terrain is so beautiful (especially at sunset.).Thanks for letting us share these bird's eye views!

Thanks for your video. It paralleled my experience with the slow form of ALS. You took me with you on your flight and it paralleled the struggles I have experienced to stay above ground. Wow. I can hardly walk and I experienced flight with you if only in my heart. I just wanted you to know how your video affected me . We all need that ❤

Awesome video Tucker I love it. I will be in the sky very soon when my Paramotor arrives. I ordered the rest of my equipment and wing through Tucker and it went smoothly and everything arrived so quick. Thank you so much for all your help Tucker. And thank you for inspiring me and many others. Keep up the amazing work. I can’t wait to see the new house.

What a cool video, back around 1980 I carried my hang glider up one of those small hills over by those houses, and flew off it a few times. I never was able to get any ridge lift and soar. We also used to ride motorcycles out there. I think the GM proving grounds used to be West of there. Make sure you keep an eye open for power lines, and barbed wire fences when you are flying so low.

Tucker those cactus had me puckered up. The video had me going, watch out for that one! Very sketchy... I don't even want to fly around cactus. I rather fly over a lake with no flotation I think. Lol

Great Mountain Bike trails all around the Phoenix area. Great Cardio to add to your muscle building routine. Although its been several years since I've been down there, some of the trails require more than just a helmet if you are into that sort of thing.

Very cool vid. Be careful around those saguaro, for your safety and the cactus. Arizona has protections on them and if you hit one it could land you in jail, after you get out of the hospital. Fly safe my man. BTW I like the no-narration pure video occasionally.

having done the Salton, the Circus and Ak-Chin a few times, and now want to roam that way in my plane, I got a question for the PPL guys... I'm seeing this flight was under the Bravo floor but within the ADSB veil. In the USA, does the bottom of the ADSB veil coincide with the bottom of the Bravo, or does the ADSB veil go to the surface? I haven't even been able to get a consistent answer from the NATCA guys at Airventure.
@chrishibner51610 ай бұрын
ADSB veil goes to the surface. Ultralights are exempt from ADSB requirements.
