I had to deposit about halfway through. He was talking about elk antler. I've never seen anything like that with elk antleror deer antler. Those buttons at the top are really neet and rare Very interesting, very cool. Not opal, but hey I live in Arizona Elk are closer lol. That chrysolite that was the stabilized material. That was used in Bagdad. My father used to work in the copper mines and some of the specimens that he brought home were amazing. I hope you read this it means everything to me that you do because this next part is about my grandmother. She was a true rockhound. For that reason, is I believe not only did I become a rockhound. I fell in love with rocks. I thank you from the bottom of my heart that you chose to air this video. If I would have known how little it was to go there I would have seen you there. I would have been your groupie lol.

Oh wow I just discovered black opal direct a couple weeks ago and I’ve been watching the shit out of him. I’ve never even touched cutting equipment, lol, but I like watching stones be cut. I should’ve known he’d be there, but I didn’t. I’m tempted to drive down to Tucson tomorrow to go meet him. Lapidary Dave and BOD are the only 2 lapidary channels I watch right now, bc I’m new to these types of videos, so to me this is an epic duo to see together.

Justin does NOT tell everyone exactly what he pays for rough. He chooses what he wants to share, usually the highest price nuggets. Lots of drama, great cutting, and amazing potential for massive profits! And a lot of fun - especially when he dances! 😊😅
@flyingcheff
@flyingcheff Жыл бұрын
Dave, that was a pretty naive thing to say. I think (my perception) that although Justin sells his stones at full retail, even to jewelers, he is (seemingly) honest, at the very least. You could actually see him cringe a bit when you said he always tells/says/shares what he pays for his rough, etc. You, of all people, should know what the rough to sale gig is. Love your channel anyway, and always! We all make oops' 🌺
