Wonderful video and discussion about this watch. I have a Black Bay Bronze(2019) and an Omega Seamaster Professional 300(2019) and I find myself enjoying the Black Bay just a tad bit more because of the patina that is forming on the watch. It feels more personal. I love looking at the Omega but I tend to wear the Black Bay in more situations.

hello, love the watch so i am planning to get myself one. just want to ask one thing before making the purchase, i saw the watch onsite and seems like the tip of the minute needle is a bit tilted downwards, is it because of the dome glass type or is it suppose to be tilted? Thanks!

great video, great interview. I like this watch and the brand Tudor as well. I'm owning the Pelagos and the Black Bay Ceramic and I think my next watch will definitely be the BB Bronze. I like the understatement which comes with a Tudor watch.

Very nice review. I’m about to graduate with my master degree in a few months and I been having my eyes set on a root beer Tudor GMT. This bronze watch though, wow! It’s going to be a hard decision. Thanks for the video Ash!

I have the root beer Tudor GMT and it is probably the go to watch in my collection. It is fabulous. However, I’ve been looking at the bronze for some time with increasing interest. Now having seen this brilliant review I’m seriously thinking of pulling the the trigger on it to run alongside the root beer. Tudor has nailed it with both watches imo

Well, I graduate in less than a week. Back in May, I had the wonderful opportunity to look at both watches at my AD. In the end, I settled for a the Pepsi GMT on the leather strap. It is a very nice watch. The past summer, I threw it on a burgundy NATO and wow! Tudor makes very fine watches for the price!! @@gjonno

I can understand why this would be an issue for a skinny 6.5in wrist, but I have an 8in wrist, so 43mm is normal or even on the smaller side. Sadly big wrist means I don't have access to tiny vintage pieces. Nice discussion though - the Doc is spot on about not wanting to wear a Rolex - I wear high-end IWCs for similar reason, similar sort of money to a Rolex but not nearly so naff. Pondering the BB Bronze for exactly the reasons outlined, as a chunky daily wearer.

Oh man that strap would drive my OCD crazy. Looks like a 21mm or 22mm strap on a 23mm lug width. Sweet watch and good conversation. Only thing holding me back from getting one is the 43mm size. That's a big watch for sure.

All depends on the wrist size. I have 7.5in wrist and at 43mm it is absolutely perfect.

I understand that is simply a cheapo leather strap sourced from ebay for under £20, which has been coupled with a non-Tudor deployment clasp (which fits onto any leather strap), also sourced from ebay at under £20. A really good look too in my opinion.

I've been asked that a few times and sadly it is no longer available on Ebay. There are a few similar straps on there for about £30 which I imagine are very similar.

The marketing tactics of Rolex is quite irritating and for me the waitlists and workings of flippers and secondary market dealers just tarnish the brand and put me off buying another Rolex. Great review Ash!

Good review, nice watch but I whish they did this model with a stainless case and on a bracelet. I find the 41mm Tudor is a little small for my 7ins wrist.

great watch.i think bronzo was first though. i went for oris bronze in the end as it has best proportions and bronzo and triple B are just slabs, beautiful slabs. it was a hard choice nevertheless. black bay 925 is my fav option from the catalogue. great conversation and choice of watch.

I got the Bucherer Edition.But man,change the strape and get a 23mm and not a 22 mm.That doesn`t look cool at all.Too much space between the lugs.

Im seriously considering this or something else from the Tudor stable as an alternative to a Submariner or Sea dweller, given the current debacle around availability of the Rolex Professional series pieces. The BBB is a beast of a watch and worthy of comparison to the 2 watches you have mentioned in terms of build quality and rugged appeal, if not overall cache. It may be worth chatting to a few Rolex ADs if you are truly interested in a Sub or SD. I recently ordered another watch, which I thought would be very challenging to obtain (GMT), but it was sourced in a matter of a few weeks. The Covid situation has deeply affected the watch industry and if you have the money in hand and are ready to buy, you are a genuine commodity to the watch dealers in the current environment. Shop around - you may like what you find!

Well done Sir. This is a lovely piece interestingly enough a colleague obtained the "batman" variant within little over a month, however it was through an AD he has used previously. Hi Leo, I don't think you will be disappointed with the BBB, its a very capable watch that looks great and has a wonderful heritage - what more do you need. My friend, Jon, who owned the watch in the video has indeed moved to Romania for his retirement - he lives near Sibiu and has been there since October, so the Tudor is now on an adventure in Transylvania.

This is most definitely the Black Bay Bronze. The colour of the dial was varied in 2019.

But I don‘t understand using budget straps for an expensive and nice watch.. It‘s like getting a nice suit but wearing shitty shoes with it or a nice car with super bad tires... It‘s saving money at the wrong part, imo...

@@SirMopy some of the budget straps from Amazon (eg Berfine) are unbelievable quality and as good as any of my straps at £100+ I use these as alternative options on both Tudor and Panerai.
