I have a cornett and it has the most gorgeous sound of any instrument. Albeit you have to live with the fact everyone, but the most capable brass players will never be able to keep it fully in tune😂😂. I enjoy playing it very much, but it truly is an handful.

Pieces for dancing (or even just dance-like in character) are customarily titled 'dances'. See Mozart's 'German Dances', Dvorak's 'Slavonic Dances', Tchaikovsky's 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy', etc, etc. I won't be rude enough to call you an idiot, but the rookie error is yours, I'm afraid.
