@zandos27 It's not that it has "elements of drum and bass," hip hop and D&B and other music are built on the foundations of old jazz and funk breaks by taking these drums and chopping/rearranging them. The fun part is digging for the rarest records in your local record store!

Don't know the name of this piece but I'm pretty sure it's from the 'Diamonds' soundtrack. As it's a soundtrack there are lots of different versions of the same tune, which explains the similarity with 'The Thief' - same movie / soundtrack. Check out 'The Plant' from 'The Black Windmill' soundtrack too, great tune.
