I was taught: Mercy is at God’s discretion while Grace is freely given… but don’t abuse God’s grace or get to a point needing or expecting his mercy… because we in our sinful nature aren’t owed either. We have to revere God, because He is good but He is a JUST and righteous God and his wrath and judgment is coming!! Don’t play with it!!
