Great guys, I managed the band during this period. Video was shot overnight at the Burbank CA power plant. We had very little video budget money so we had to improvise. They took purple water based paint and just painted a section purple, set up the stage and went to work. Fun shoot.

Tuff STILL kicks ass like countless metal/rock 80's bands! You can't say that about any decade since. I've been taking my youngest, in the past 3 years, to Kiss, Def Leppard, Styx, REO, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Slash, and more. He was blown away by the stage shows, live vocals, etc. They all rocked and in their 50's/60's now, they can kick any of today's "talents'" ass all over the stage!

Joe Little Sorry bro, but Tuff was formed in 1985, by guitarist Jorge DeSaint, drummer Gary Huckaby, and bassist Todd Chase. After drummer Gary Huckaby left the group in 1985 to work with another local project, the band enlisted drummer Michael Lean and vocalist Terry Fox, who left the band shortly afterward. With replacement vocalist Jim Gillette, the band recorded a four-track EP entitled Knock Yourself Out (1986). However, Gillette left and was replaced by Stevie Rachelle.

What's awesome is they started in the 80's and continued into the 90's gaining more fans. My comment should really state that 80's metal/rock was so awesome that many bands still have their original fan base and newer generations are jamming to them too! It's allowed several bands of that era to continue touring, reuniting, and creating new material.

I got my skateboard and rode it up to the mall and then I went into the wall at the time when it was called that and bought tuff what comes around goes around on cassette tape. I tried to get it on CD but they were sold out of it at the time. Still tuff was a great band when they were around, it's a shame that they didn't stick around that long like they should have. They were a great band and their music was great too.

The problem is that they are too similar to other hair bands. It’s a tough business and I respect that they got a contract and a record and a single and a video all of which is totally cool. I admire people in the arts because we need them to put color into our worlds. It’s just that this so close to other acts that it does not distinguish itself. Still, you had success and got recorded and that is what counts.

I have such a soft spot for the 80's ballads because they show and bring out the feminine side of these supposed hard guys who make womanizing an art form. They truly inside do feel mor for and about females than just the physical. And that is where the inspiration comes for alot of this romantic stuff. Yes some of it is contrived to make money at the time, but alot is also sincere and that is admirable. Guys need to start representing our gender better and showing females how special they are.
