Janna from Iamthealphabet uses a TUFTING GUN to make these custom rugs, a tufting gun is a machine used to place yarn into a canvas, janna then glues a backing on the tufted rugs and Shears them to perfection.
Tufting is not new but has become popular again recently!

yes i add extra felt where I know hardware will be placed

question though why does my canvas rip pretty frequently i started using 2 strands of yarn and that has honestly helped a lot i put the cloth on the frame as bit more straight , made the cloth more tight adjusted my gun the scissors and its doing way better but i still get a hole in the canvas on every project(ive only done 4 rugs) im not sure if its the gun if its the way im using the gun i have no ideas

So when you put a D-Ring on it, it pretty much has to be a wall hanging. Right? Since I imagine if anyone were to step where you screw it on they would get a screw point in their foot? Is there a way to do it so it could be one or the other? Or are the screws absolutely needed to hang them? Great looking rug!
