Thank you for watching. It was fantastic to see it as they were only displayed that weekend, although they do return a few times during the year but only for a weekend at a time.

Hopefully we can get the series out there to a few people who haven’t heard of it or is long forgotten from their childhood. Thank you for watching.

I did think I hadn't ever seen Tugs but then you showed that image of the Z Stacks and it unlocked a distant memory in my brain so clearly I have! But either way, I've a bit of a passion for older forms of animation so seeing all of how it had been rescued and restored was a real treat! I've travelled on quite a few of the hertiage lines across the west and east Mids (and further afield) but I've actually never actually ticked the Midland Railway off properly but I have visited there. (I sat in the car. I did equally think that lavatory building looked quite smart! 😂)

Yes, it's not a long line for the midland railway, well the part of it they use most of the time, but it's a lot of fun and well kept by volunteers. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Great vlog :) If you are interested in other local train places, I visited Barrow Hill Roundhouse near Chesterfield recently and that was quite enjoyable!

One of the creators, who created first two series of Thomas the Tank Engine, went on to make a similar program in Canada called ‘Theodore Tugboat’ but it didn’t really have the same feel as Tugs. You can find the Tugs episodes on KZbin. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I remember actually watching Tugs as a kid and I also remember them butchering it for Saltys Lighthouse too! Such a shame as it was much darker than Thomas :)

Have you ever seen, Cardona one of the creators and creator of first two series of Thomas, made ‘Theodore Tugboat’ in Canada and it went for 130 episodes. All tugs episodes can be found on KZbin.

@@LoveTwoExplore I've heard of Theodore Tugboat but I haven't seen it. But I have seen all the Tugs episodes and many attempts by other KZbinrs (Such as the Unlucky Tug) try to put the episodes in order! Might have to pop down to see the exhibition as it's grown a lot from pictures I've seen of it in an old railway car or some thing like that!

@@loopslapbars not sure if they move the majority of it around to other places but if it’s ever here again and you’re coming it’s local to us so let us know

It was a short lived show that’s garnered a cult following. Only aired 13 episodes from April-June 1989 and made by the creators of first two series of Thomas the tank engine. You can find them all on KZbin. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
